Tactical Augmented Reality for the dismounted soldier
Part of Elbit Systems’ Torch-X Dismounted solutions integrated warrior combat suite, SmartNVG is an add-on to most existing NVG’s providing monocular see-through augmented reality symbology and imagery to the soldier. Comprised of processing, control and display units, SmartNVG can beequipped with two different display modules – the night display module (NDM), the color night display module (CNDM). SmartNVG can receive data or video input through an HDMI source or via an Android device.
Helmet mountable, the HUD (head up display) is comprised of a flat panel electro-optical device that incorporates a miniature high resolution Organic LED (OLED) source display unit. The unit superimposes navigation and C2 data on any vision imaging system, delivering an advanced augmented reality solution for a wide range of tactical missions.
