Digital JHMCS, is an improved design and technically upgraded version, that takes the best of this established legacy to the next level With minimal installation requirements, and using the aircraft’s current tracker and display hardware, pilots will enjoy the improved day and night capabilities while utilizing the most modern technology. This technological upgrade dramatically reduces the logistic and maintenance requirements.
Designed as a modern evolution of the classic JHMCS, the Digital JHMCS upgrade brings advanced digital capabilities to aircraft already equipped with legacy systems—without requiring software changes or major cockpit modifications. By reusing much of the existing hardware, the upgrade becomes a straightforward, cost‑effective “plug‑and‑play” enhancement that significantly boosts operational performance.
For platforms that are not currently fitted with JHMCS, the JHMCS II configuration offers a fully modern solution. It introduces a next‑generation optical‑inertial tracker and replaces older subsystems with a compact Aircraft Interface Unit (ACIU) that eliminates the need for cooling infrastructure, mounting trays, or cockpit re‑mapping. This flexible architecture enables seamless integration into virtually any fighter aircraft.
