Advanced Decoy Flares against heat-seeking missiles
FG-3 and FG-6 are combat proven flares against infrared (IR) heat seeking missiles. The flares are used on a wide range of aircraft and helicopters against the threat of air-to-air and ground-to-air missiles.
Combat-proven decoy capabilities
FG-3 is equivalent to the M206 including a pyrotechnic safety mechanism (PSM) while FG-6 is equivalent to the
MJU-7B. The FG-3 and FG-6 flares have a combat-proven record against the threat of heat-seeking missiles. Reliable and effective, the expendable countermeasures can be ejected from all modern fixed-wing fighter aircraft, such as the F-16, F-15 and others, as well as from helicopters and transport aircraft, such as the C-130 Hercules.
FG-3 and FG-6 flares are fully compatible in form and fit with the M206/MJU-7B flares.
