Explosive Breaching Frame

Modular device for breaching concrete walls and heavy door frames

The Explosive Breaching Frame (EBF) cuts man-size holes in concrete block walls and heavy door frames. Highly effective in a variety of operational scenarios, the modular frame enables rapid entry into structures during urban combat and homeland security operations.

The EBF comprises several modular sections, easily carried in a dedicated backpack harness. Each section of the EBF contains a Linear Shaped Charge (LSC), which produces a linear cutting action into walls. The small frame model EBF carries an explosive filling of 0.75kg (CLX 15), and the medium frame carries 2.1kg explosives. The frame can be quickly and easily set up in the field, supported against the wall by two linkage rods.
