Elbit Systems ISTAR Divisionâs electro-optics (EO) payload solutions provide optimal observation, surveillance, tracking and targeting capabilities even in the toughest conditions. Elbit Systemsâ stabilized EO payloads are available for rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, UAS, combat vehicles, naval platforms and ground applications.
The payloads include up to four sensors, including third generation FLIRs, day channels with zoom, eye-safe laser range finders, laser target designators and laser pointers in a stabilized turret. Together, they facilitate outstanding target detection, recognition and identification of tactical targets, under day, night and adverse weather conditions, even at very long ranges.

⢠MicroCoMPASS is a payload featuring an ultra-lightweight, extremely compact design, with a high stabilization level optimized for installation on UAS, helicopters and aerostats. The systemâs cutting-edge EO technology delivers continuous zoom, night and day observation and surveillance capabilities. MicroCoMPASS is a single LRU integrating four EO elements: a large format, continuous zoom thermal imager, a zoom color TV camera with low light mode, an eyesafe laser range finder (ELRF) and a laser target illuminator.
15â Payloads
DCoMPASS is the industryâs first EO system that is a fully Digital Compact Multi-Purpose Advanced Stabilized System, proven to deliver superb day and night ISTAR capabilities in the harshest weather conditions. The system comprises a single LRU configuration integrating five EO elements: an HD color TV camera with optional low light mode, a large format thermal imager, a laser target illuminator, an eyesafe laser rangefinder and a laser target designator. Small payloads are made possible by innovative miniature digital electronics and advanced lightweight materials.
Spectro XR is a day/night, ultra long-range multi-spectral electro-optical ISTAR solution that provides 20â payload performance in a 15â payload. The heart of the system is a multi-spectral imaging system that combines multiple optical channels into one and improves performance without increasing size and weight. SPECTRO XR is equipped with a wide variety of digital imaging, high definition sensors and advanced lasers - all with very high levels of stabilization. SPECTRO XR exhibits high performance at day, night and adverse weather conditions, and is suitable for land, naval, fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms.
AMPS is an Advanced Multi-sensor Payload System that serves as a dynamic target detection and recognition payload for strategic ISR and ISTAR at standoff ranges. A highly stabilized EO payload, AMPS delivers excellent day and night ISTAR capabilities, facilitated by autonomous navigation with an inertial system and GPS.
