Next-generation multi-purpose rigid bomb
The MPR 2000 (2000 lb) is part of a combat-proven family of rigid general-purpose (GP) bombs. Based on the excellent results gained by the MPR 500, the MPR 2000 delivers high reliability of more than 95% with low target engagement cost.
MPR 2000 delivers high penetration capabilities. No “J” effect enables a straight penetration path to the target. The MPR 2000 GP bomb is capable of penetrating 2.5m reinforced concrete. It is fully compatible with the MK 84 general-purpose bomb in aircraft configuration, guidance kits and fuzes.
