Joint Force coordination
Joint Force coordination is one of the most challenging capabilities to train. The complexity of modern operating environments and high-end munitions are just two of the factors involved in maintaining FE@R. CST is a C4I enabled synthetic training system utilising TORCH-X™ Battle Management System (akin to UK MoDs BMA). The system supports the end-to-end operational process: F2T2EA. Immersing the operator in a true LVC environment with operational equipment augmented by Virtual and Constructive entities, it enables HQ staff at all levels to be stimulated by any number of open architecture feeds. Embedded within the system are powerful analytical tools to enable innovation through AAR.
TORCH-X BMS sits at the heart of this. The use of simulation creates a single collaborative environment for commanders and their staff. CST stimulates open architecture simulation to create dynamic LVC interactive training for combined forces, creating a coherent and rich combat environment with all modern battlefield complexities. All of this works over the in-place operational Combat Net Radio, without need for expensive and limiting 3rd party networks.
CST supports the entire operational process, with modular, highly flexible infrastructure enabling forces to train in their natural surroundings, while advanced connectivity features facilitate synchronized, collaborative training sessions that have a tremendous impact on performance in live combat. CST enables the training of commanders and staff in an A3ES complex future operating environment, using a familiar interface on their own network and allowing greater emphasis to be placed on the operational outputs and not fighting the system. It also avoids the requirement for bespoke and often costly standalone networks or computing power.
