Target and Designation Acquisition Suite
TRIDENT™ is a lightweight, modular, remotely controlled target acquisition suite for short to medium-range dismounted ISTAR missions. Controlled by a host computer, the man-packed, single-tripod system provides next-generation accuracy, fire support and intelligence – shortening the sensor-to-shooter loop. Continuous operation is enabled by its efficient electronic design.
AI-driven, with an exceptionally wide FOV, TRIDENT meets the needs of combat forces on the ground and in the air – including Special Forces, forward teams, forward observers, weapon guidance teams, MFCs and JTACs. It provides accurate coordinates enabling precision target acquisition – meeting NATO requirements for accuracy. As a passive system, it prevents forces from being discovered by the enemy and allows target acquisition in threat-saturated environments. The suite can be integrated with most Battle Management Systems.
TRIDENT can be used as a standalone solution or can be fully integrated with the customer’s existing systems.
Elbit Systems can supply the entire suite or provide each component separately.
