High-Performance Fuze for Short Function Delays
Part of Elbit Systems’ ID260MF series of advanced multifunction fuze platforms, the ID260MF/IB is designed for applications requiring short function delays. A
unique mechanical selection mechanism allows the pilot to select the fire delay time, upgrading weapons with fire delay selection from the cockpit. The fuze fits in a standard 3” tail fuzewell and features an easily upgradable communication protocol for future weapon systems.
Our fuzes are compatible with modern precision-guided bombs such as JDAM, Paveway, and LIZARD, as well as hard penetrator warheads. We take pride in our ability to manufacture and customize fuzes for customers globally, maintaining an outstanding reputation for safety and reliability in aerial munitions technology.
Fire delay settings
Arm time and function delay time can be set manually or from the cockpit using RS422 communication or lanyard activation. The fuze features main and secondary fire delay settings. The pilot chooses the delay time using different lanyard activations at the time of weapon release.
