Digital weapon sight add on for see-through situational awareness
SmartSight is an add-on to most existing day and night weapon sights, providing see through augmented reality symbology to the soldier. Designed for day and night operation, the digital weapon sight add-on, is a see-through situational awareness device, fully integrated with Elbit Systems’ Torch-X Dismounted solutions suite.
SmartSight includes a GPS module, and an inertial unit. It displays compass and laser rangefinder (LRF) data – directly on the sight. SmartSight features target acquisition capabilities with C2 interoperability via radio. Safety zones, blue force tracking and enemy tracks are displayed on the screen. The SmartSight is fully ruggedized and designed to withstand assault rifle recoil. With its seamless and intuitive operation, SmartSight enhances the combat effectiveness, performance and survivability of dismounted soldiers.
