Surveillance and Reconniassance
Elbit Systems specializes in surveillance and reconnaissance systems, optimized for all range applications – from short-range to extremely long-range. Installed on mobile platforms, as well as on stationary towers and turrets, these surveillance and reconnaissance systems enable high-quality tactical level intelligence gathering for infantry, artillery and other ground forces.
These systems enable the reconnaissance forces to enhance collaborative planning and conduct routine intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations and terrain dominance through sharing a common operational picture (COP). In addition, the systems enable tracking/incident monitoring and interoperability of various resources and services among reconnaissance forces within the arena. The reconnaissance forces solution optimizes intelligence resources usage, thereby improving the force’s agility, effectiveness and ISR mission accomplishment within the arena. Elbit Systems’ solutions include integrated gimbaled platforms equipped with LRF, CCD and FLIR cameras, in addition to lightweight man-portable systems.
LORROS - is a Long Range Reconnaissance and Observation System for surveillance, target recognition and identification. LORROS is designed as an open platform allowing a wide range of sensor configurations under one user-friendly control console. LORROS can be deployed as a shoreline observation array that combines long-range day and thermal video surveillance cameras, maritime radars and mobile observation vehicles with control consoles. The solution can be deployed either locally onsite, or remotely in regional or national hierarchal C2 centers.
