Elbit Systems to Showcase Wide Array of Capabilities during NEDS 2022

From the TORCH-X C4ISR ecosystem enabling information driven operations, through integrated naval EW suites, through modern flight training solutions, to multi-layered counter-UAS capabilities 

 

Rotterdam, the Netherlands – November 17, 2022 – Elbit Systems’ display during the NIDV Exhibition Defence & Security 2022 (Ahoy Rotterdam – November 17- stand D 3.0) will see a wide range of the company’s advanced defence solutions being demonstrated: multi-domain networked warfare capabilities, precision fires solutions, naval systems, various protection suites, flight academies and services, rotary wing solutions, robotics & autonomous systems and the company’s latest electro optical systems.  

Specific capabilities that will be highlighted

E-LynX MANET Software Defined Radio Featuring advanced MANET, multihop technology, the low SWAP E-LynX family is Elbit Systems’ latest generation of tactical communications solutions that support the operational requirements of the modern battlefield with its multidomain character. Based on powerful, open architecture SDR technology, these multi-waveform, full duplex tactical IP radios enable simultaneous data, video and multiple voice sessions in both wideband and narrowband waveforms on a single RF infrastructure, covering all NATO mobile frequency bands. E-LynX has been selected by various European NATO countries as part of their army digitisation efforts.

PULS long range precision rocket artillery system Cooperating with Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, Elbit Systems’ precision fires portfolio includes its versatile Precise & Universal Launching System (PULS). Providing optimal responsiveness, PULS is an autonomous artillery rocket system that provides a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for precise firing of all types of advanced rockets and the company’s SkyStriker loitering munition. Unlike standard artillery, there is no need to move artillery units based on the required firing range; PULS can fire a variety of ammunition types to various ranges from the same position, to ranges of up to 300km. 

SLING “shoot & scoot” 120mm mortar system

Capable of firing Elbit Systems’ Iron Sting and Stylet precision guided mortar rounds amongst others, Sling is a 120mm mortar system for small size 4X4 wheeled vehicles which makes it suitable for light infantry, SOF units. A fully autonomous, computerized, mounted mortar system, Sling is adaptable to a wide range of high mobility platforms. The rapidly deployed 120mm mortar system enables quick response and enhanced survivability, in and out of action within 30-60 seconds. Selected by various European NATO countries, Elbit Systems is also a prime contractor for the United States Army’s mortar systems.

TORCH-X Dismounted integrated soldier modernisation solution

Featuring a low-weight, modular and scalable architecture, TORCH-X Dismounted is an integrated warrior combat networked solution for enhanced combat effectiveness, situational awareness and survivability of infantry and special forces across all echelons. Core components include advanced C2 wearables, GPS independent tracking devices, weapon sights and connectivity to sensors which come as add-ons to the LCP, personal network radios, tactical computers that have been selected by the Dutch customer.

Integrated naval SIGINT and EW suites

Offering integrated 6th Generation capabilities (RESM, CESM, ECM), Elbit Systems’ digital family of modular, compact naval EW suites is suitable for the latest generation of surface combatants and submarines. Based on extensive operational experience of over four decades, the company’s cutting edge naval EW systems are in service with various Western navies.

BrightNite DVE sensor

Easy to add on to existing airframes, BrightNite is an affordable non-gimbaled, multispectral pilotage sensor that supports operational flights at night and in whiteout, brownout and sprayout conditions. Compatible with Elbit Systems’ world leading Helmet Display & Tracking System (HDTS) – ANVIS/HUD, the wide field of view, high resolution system displays panoramic imagery simultaneously straight to the aircrews’ eyes, enhanced by 3D flight and mission conformal symbology.
