Elbit Systems to Showcase an Array of Solutions Offered to the Asian-Pacific Market at ADEX 2017

Visitors to the Company’s booth will be able to experience a virtual reality demonstration of the BrightNite ™ system, enabling intuitive head-up, eyes-out orientation flight in extreme low visibility conditions

Elbit Systems will showcase a wide spectrum of innovative solutions designed for the changing requirements of the defense industry, at the Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition 2017 (Seoul ADEX 2017), taking place from October 17-22 (booth B-81).

The Korean market is an important market for Elbit Systems, which has established a local company, Sharp Elbit Systems Aerospace Inc. (SESA), a joint company with Sharp Aviation K.

At the Exhibition, Elbit Systems will showcase the following systems and solutions:

Helmet Mounted Systems (HMS)

Our HMS enable pilots to plan, rehearse, fly and debrief using their personal helmets. They’re available in stand-alone or fully integrated configurations. The HMS is an excellent solution for fighter aircraft, air lifters, trainers, emergency services aircraft and helicopters. Our offering includes NVCD (night symbology) and click-on Night Vision Goggles (NVG), improved helmet comfort and center of gravity. Our HMS also contains safe, proven visor projection, market leading accuracy, a hybrid optical/inertial tracker with unlimited motion box with best in class redundancy, a unique color display and a multi-sensor video presentation.

Brightnite™

Visitors to the Company’s booth will be able to experience a special virtual reality demonstration of the BrightNite system that enables intuitive head-up, eyes-out orientation flight in extreme low visibility conditions. This system is a multi-spectral end to end panoramic piloting solution that delivers the landscape scenery directly to both eyes of the pilot, including 2D flight symbology, 3D mission symbology and Elbit Systems’ unique brownout symbology, thereby enabling intuitive head-up eyes-out orientation flight in pitch dark and other low visibility landing conditions. The scenery picture is driven from the multi-spectral sensor, which fuses multiple day and night cameras into one crystal clear very intuitive piloting picture regardless of outer light conditions.

Wide Area Persistent Systems (WAPS) for intelligence gathering:

Groundeye™

An innovative line of advanced electro optic ground surveillance systems that are designed for wide-area focused and persistent intelligence gathering, GroundEye provides unique, overall situational awareness of “on-the- ground” data and enables a large number of users to receive real-time, high-resolution imagery and even go “back- in-time” for forensic debriefing. GroundEye can be installed on masts, carried by dismounted forces or vehicle mounted.

SupervisIR™

A ground-based 24/7 infrared WAPS system, SupervisIR offers greater search-area coverage, an easy user interface and pixel perfect visualization of multiple regions of interest. Meeting a full range of ISTAR requirements, the system is highly effective at detecting, tracking, and displaying visual motion imagery of moving air, ground and sea targets, making it ideally suited for border patrol, perimeter security, surveillance and counter-surveillance operations. The system provides infrared surveillance capability that is equivalent to approximately 150 thermal imagers placed side by side.

Airborne Self-Protection and Payload Systems:
J-MUSIC™

A market leading Direct Infra-Red Counter Measures (DIRCM) system, optimized to protect jet aircraft from shoulder-fired missiles (MANPADS), J-MUSIC is designed for distributed installation on a variety of aircraft types, in a single or multi-turret configuration. The J-MUSIC system is highly advanced and fully proven. J-MUSIC is light-weight, compact and easily installed on a broad range of aircraft types. Its open architecture allows integration with various Missile Warning Systems (MWS) thereby enabling it to provide comprehensive market leading protection in the civil and military
market.

mini-MUSIC™

Built on years of proven experience in a military environment, this DIRCM solution provides fixed and rotary-wing aircraft with superior defense against multiple missile threats. The solution can also be integrated with various MWS for reliable and affordable protection.

All-in- Small™ Complete Airborne Self-Protection Suite

An extremely small and lightweight integrated EW suite in a single line replaceable unit All-in- Small can be effectively integrated with DIRCM systems due to its high range detection and Direction Finding (DF) accuracy. It also enables quick and efficient jamming.

Spectro™ XR

An ultra-long- range, day/night, multi-spectral electro-optical ISTAR system, Spectro provides 20” payload performance in a 15” payload. The heart of the system is a large multi-spectral imaging system that combines multiple cameras into one, allowing it to significantly improve performance without increasing size and weight. The system can be installed on a variety of platforms including rotary and fixed-wing airborne platforms, aerostats, naval vessels and land applications.

Communication Systems:
MCTR-7200 family of tactical Software-Defined Radios offering superior operational versatility for the mounted and dismounted soldier

This family of tactical software-defined radios features a uniquely designed software communications architecture, an intuitive user interface and multiple configuration options, including vehicular, handheld and dual configurations.

PNR-1000 lightweight personal network radio with automatic voice and data relay
Part of the E-LynX™ family, the SDR PNR-1000 IP radio supports up to 64-member ad- hoc networking including full-duplex voice conferencing, data and video simultaneously. As the newest generation of PNR at the full NATO RF spectrum 225-512MHz, the PNR-1000 is the lightest of its kind in the market. The PNR-1000’s unique technology
maximizes communications dependability and range while minimizing the network’s vulnerability.

Search and Rescue Systems:

(SAR) PRC-648 PLB Personal Locator Beacon (PLB)
PRC-648
PRC-648

The PLB is an advanced Over-the- Horizon Cospas-Sarsat locator, for non-combat search and rescue (SAR) missions.
Carried in the pilot’s emergency vest, the PRC-648 provides ultra-reliable performance in severe environments.
An internal G-Switch automatically activates the beacon upon bailout, while a lanyard-actuated switch provides for additional mechanical and manual activation options. PRC-434G/CS “All-In- One” Personal Survival Radio (PSR) Handheld and lightweight, the PRC-434G/CS’ transceiver is capable of responding to interrogations transmitted by the ARS-7000 Airborne Locator System (ALS). An embedded GPS receiver provides global geolocation capabilities.
