WHAT IS IT?
The Augmented Reality embedded Training System enables observers to train anywhere any time. Tailored to any combat platform or military equipment that utilizes electro-optical sensors and systems. ARTIST™ can be operated through sighting systems, such as screens, multi-function displays, helmets and head-up displays. The virtual components can be integrated into other operational devices, including radars, C4I and more. In this virtual arena, ARTIST allows operators to conduct F2T2EA, fire procedures and engagement protocols, against authentic virtual opposing forces in a complex live environment.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
As REAL as VIRTUAL REALITY can get, ARTIST introduces a comprehensive, highly realistic virtual layer of entities and effects into the live training environment. This allows the trainee to operate all sensors and systems against an AR-enriched real-world view. The enriched training environment looks, sounds, behaves and reacts as it would in an operational scenario, providing trainees with an all-encompassing training experience, creating real-life mission-training scenarios that support operators of Land, Air and Maritime forces.
