EARLY WARNING
Fire-Shield’s solution includes a multi-layer detection coverage, which gathers data from multiple smoke and fire detectors in high-risk areas. With a first detection layer covering an area of up to 300 ft and includes wide observation systems and drones guided by a specialized algorithm created by Elbit Systems’ aerospace division with an advanced thermal camera. Second and third levels scan extensive and highly flammable terrains and involve small and large UAVs such as Hermes™ StarLiner, Hermes 450/650, Skylark™. These aerial platforms can soar up to 35,000 ft., provide outstanding visibility, and ensure a clear view of all relevant aspects of the fire.
COMMAND AND CONTROL
Fire-Shield leverages Elbit’s decades of dominance in developing and manufacturing C4I systems for military use such as SKYTOUCH. These end-to-end, multifunctional Planning, Command and Control solutions generate recommendations to the controller, using intelligent AI recommendations and organization of the collected information and enable optimal real-time operational response.
